In the service business, we spend a good deal of time saying “Thank you.” There are Thank yous to customers, vendors, co-workers. Our shop is like a Grand Central Station of Thank you. And we are very comfortable with that. It is the way that it should be. No question.

This year was a little different however. Back in July as many of you know, there was a fire in on of our bays in the service center which caused a significant amount of damage. No one was hurt, thank goodness, but it was a pretty traumatic event for those of us who love what we do here at Quick Lane at Garnet Ford. What happened that night and during the weeks that followed was nothing short of awesome.

First, the night of the fire, we were blessed to see the sheer volume of folks from our community and neighboring communities serve as first responders. These people are incredible. They are dedicated. They are selfless and, yes, they are heroes.

In the days and weeks to follow, we were stunned by the outpouring of support from members of the community, fellow members of the business community and of course, our customers. Emails, phone calls and folks dropping by. You name it, we felt the love. It was truly great.

This Thanksgiving, as we take the day off to spend time with family and friends, take in some football and one too many pieces of pie, rest assured, all of us at Quick Lane at Garnet Ford will be spending an extra moment with our thoughts and prayers to remember all of you in a moment of thanks. Thank you!
