Allow us to begin by recognizing all of those servicemen and women who have given their lives in service to our country. This Memorial Day, their sacrifice is on our minds and so are the sacrifices made by the families of the lost. They gave it all so that we can enjoy what we have in this country and it is important that we should remember them this weekend.

For those who look to make the journey out of town for Memorial Day Weekend so as to grab rest, relaxation, sun and fun in the Poconos, Jersey Shore or Maryland and Delaware beaches, you already know that traffic can be a bear on holiday weekends such as this, so most important of all things, be sure to pack some patience. AAA estimates that roughly 34 million Americans will drive this weekend which is the highest number estimated in over a decade for the Memorial Day holiday. That volume can be most accurately attributed to low gas prices throughout the US.

With volume comes traffic, so it is best to make sure that your vehicle is in good shape to make any trek this weekend and safely keep you and your passengers comfy should you have to sit on the roadways for extended periods of time in stop and go traffic. What this means is properly checking tire tread depths and fluid levels, especially coolant and oil. Be sure also to make sure your windshield wipers are in good shape and proper working order so that you are safe to use them in case of a shower or thunderstorm.

We wish everyone out there a  safe weekend on the roads. Our service center will be back open at normal hours on Tuesday, May 31st.
